So we're in Kathmandu, Nepal now. It's almost 10:45pm--15 minutes before this internet cafe closes. We're leaving at 6:30am tomorrow to trek around the Annapurna massif--315km (200 mi.) over 3 weeks.
We've been scrambling around like mad the last few days getting our sh*t together for the trek, but I promised myself I would get a post up with new pictures before we left. So here you are. No time for captions, so you'll just have to guess at what things are. We'll fill them in and post something a bit more interesting when we get back to civilization.
Cheers,

Posted by brad at March 18, 2004 09:00 AMHi Brad &Jaqueline,
Great to see the pictures of 'our' trekkig in Nepal om your beautiful website! We hope you're still that much in heaven, as we are. After someweeks Thailand (ethnic violence as well, is it us??)), we're now in Maleysia. Time for some real travelling again after three weeks on beaches being lazy, although the underwaterworld was awsome. Wish you a lovely wedding!!!
greetings,

Hi Brad&Jaqueline,
Great to see how much you enjoyed your wedding!
Congratulations! I wish you all the best for your future. It's nice you want to give France a chance first, before talking about going back to your missed San Francisco, although I can understand that. It's really a nice place to stay, although it's hard to find a place for your car in some areas! ;)
I'm sorry I didn't post earlier, but I had so much to do. Now I'm working here in Düsseldorf to get some day in the far future my Ph.D. !
I hope you enjoy real life as much as you enjoyed the year travelling around.
greetings,
Christian
